  • Jute Microgreens Grow Mats - 52x25cm
  • Made from all-natural Jute fibers
  • Fully compostable - Water wicking and high water holding capacity
  • Perfect for growing microgreens and wheatgrass hydroponically
  • Easy to cut for shaping to custom growing containers

Jute fiber produces humic acid, which is a molecule that helps plant roots absorb water and nutrients which results in higher yields.

Jute is a fibrous plant that has been used to make rope and textiles for hundreds of years. These Jute grow pads are made of 100% all-natural woven jute fibers with no binders or fillers.

The Jute Mat manufacturer uses plant-based oil to keep the dust down. It's called Jute Batching Oil. It has a very strong smell that some people think smells like petroleum. It's completely natural and harmless. If you don't like the smell you can leave it ventilated out in the sun for a few days to eliminate the smell before use.

Directions for use:

  1. Place grow mat in a mesh tray and soak the grow mat in water until completed saturated.
  2. Sprinkle the soaked microgreen seeds evenly over the grow mat and gently shake the tray.
  3. Put it in sunlight or artificial light, keep moist by spraying 1-2 times a day.
  4. Harvest microgreens with scissors and enjoy.
  • Ideal soiless medium, no soil mess
  • 7-10 days to harvest microgreens
  • Easy to cut into any shape you need
  • Avoid overwatering when growing microgreens
  • Use for hydroponics and microgreens
